Hours: Full-time, shift-based (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins) with shift patterns 2 days on, 4 off rolling rota

Working as a Residential Support Worker is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to be a mentor, advocate, and role model. You’ll play a key part in providing high quality care and support tailored to the individual needs of the children and young people within the service. This is a rewarding role working with a supportive team in creating a nurturing, safe, and empowering environment where young people can grow, heal, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in line with organisational standards, policies and current legislation.
• Build strong and positive trusting relationships with young people to support their personal growth and development.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
• Support young people in their education, health, and well-being by maintaining communication with schools, attending appointments, and facilitating activities.
• Perform household tasks to maintain a positive home atmosphere.
• Actively participate in team meetings, training, and personal development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Transport young people to appointments, education, and recreational activities as required.
