Job summary

A leading charity organization in Banbridge is seeking passionate Residential Childcare Workers to support children and young people during short stays. The role involves providing compassionate care, creating engaging environments, and working within a dedicated team. Applicants should have experience with children, ideally in residential settings, and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification. The position offers a permanent contract with weekly hours of 22 and is flexible across Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Ability to keep records or contribute to reports.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Valid driving license or alternative mobility solutions.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of working with children and young people (does not have to be gained in a formal employment setting)
  • Experience of keeping records/daily notes or contributing to reports.
  • Experience of working within safeguarding policy and procedures.
  • A valid driving license or alternatively be able to demonstrate how you can meet the mobility requirements of the post
