Social Care Recruitment are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team, supporting children and young people aged 5-18 in high-quality residential settings. You'll be working with some of the UK's most respected children's providers, helping young people who have experienced trauma, emotional and behavioural difficulties, or additional learning needs to build brighter futures. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who is caring, resilient, and passionate about making a genuine difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and positive home environment for young people.
  • Provide emotional, practical and personal support, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Support young people in daily routines and community activities, encouraging social and emotional development.
  • Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures to ensure the safety of every young person.
  • Work effectively with the wider team to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care.
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism.
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships that promote confidence and self-esteem.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards for children's homes.
What We're Looking For
