Job summary

Woodstock Building Associates is a custom home design-build firm seeking a Residential Carpenter to support construction projects for high-quality custom homes. This role involves working with a team to complete building, installation, and finishing work across a variety of residential projects.

Based in Woodstock, CT, travel to job sites throughout Northeastern Connecticut and nearby Massachusetts is required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of residential carpentry or construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of job site safety practices.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential construction projects under the direction of a Lead Carpenter or Supervisor.
• Perform tasks including demolition, light framing, finish carpentry, painting, and general construction support.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Travel to assigned job sites as needed.

Pay: $40,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience
