Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Residential Team Leader for Wylesfield in Llandrindod Wells. You will lead a dedicated team to provide high-quality residential and dementia care, guiding staff, ensuring safe practices and compassionate resident support.

The role requires leadership experience in residential care, strong communication, and a caring, patient approach. This is a bank/ASAP-as-needed role in a care home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working within residential care for older people.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or working towards it.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Caring, patient and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care
• Promoting best practice at all times
• Safely administering and recording medication in line with company policies
• Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly
• Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
