Jasmine Healthcare Limited in Ewerby, Lincolnshire, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our caring team. The role offers 4–5 shifts weekly, 08:00–18:00, with incentives in addition to a £13.05 per hour rate. You will support bedrooms and public areas, along with laundry duties in our home.

We value a team player with strong cleaning standards, good time management and effective communication, who lives within 20 minutes of the Home and is committed to resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the Home.
• Handle wash, dry, iron and laundry and return clothing to residents' bedrooms.
• Keep mandatory training up to date including Infection Control, Manual Handling and Health & Safety.
• Support other team members to keep housekeeping shifts running smoothly.
• Keep the Housekeeper informed of major developments and contribute ideas to improve standards.

About St Andrew's Nursing And Care Home

St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities for Housekeeping Assistant

• As a Housekeeping Assistant you will joining our team to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the Home. You will also be responsible for the wash, dry, iron and put away or laundry, including returning clothing to resident's bedrooms.
• You will keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required, including Infection Control, Manual Handling and Health & Safety
• Support our Team Members in the smooth running of housekeeping shifts.
• Ensure the Housekeeper is kept fully informed of all major developments (i.e. team issues, complaints, inspections) always.
• To be aware of Jasmine Healthcare's philosophy and to contribute ideas to improve the standard of care provided.
