A leading youth care organization in Thatcham is seeking a Residential Care Manager to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional support to autistic young people. This crucial role involves overseeing the health and wellbeing of residents while ensuring the implementation of autism-friendly practices. The candidate must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and have experience in autism care. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £39,000 to £48,500 per annum with numerous employee benefits, including comprehensive training and a pension scheme.
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting young people autistic young people with complex needs? We are looking for a Residential Care Manager to lead, guide, and inspire a team of in delivering exceptional care and learning for the young people in our care.
Please note: a holder of a full UK driving licence is preferred for this role.

As a Residential Care Manager, you will oversee the health, wellbeing, and development of the young people in your care. You will lead a team of autism practitioners, ensuring high-quality, autism-friendly strategies and practices are implemented in their daily support. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding your team to exceed the care and learning standards as outlined by Ofsted and CQC.
With a focus on the holistic development of each young person, you will help them thrive by ensuring their individual needs are met and by creating a safe and supportive environment. As part of your role, you will also provide leadership in risk management, health and safety, and staff development, ensuring a positive and empowering work environment for your team.
