Job summary

A reputable care home provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced Qualified Home Manager to lead a 20-bed care home. The candidate will oversee all aspects of care quality, staffing, and compliance with CQC standards. The ideal manager has a proven leadership background in elderly care, preferably with an NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact and drive improvement in care services.

Are you an experiencedQualified Home Manager ready for your next exciting challenge? Domus Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a reputable 20 bed care home in Bristol, rated Good by the CQC, as they search for a strong, motivated leader to take the reigns and drive continued improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
  • Oversee all aspects of home management, from care quality excellence to financial performance.
  • Drive occupancy and build strong community relationships.
  • Guide and support the Deputy Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain the home's “Good” rating.
  • Play a key role in managing short-term admissions effectively.
  • Champion best practices in dementia and complex care.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven track record of staff management and leadership.
  • Experience of providing support into the elderly/dementia care setting.
  • Ideally NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care.
