A growing property development firm based in Royal Tunbridge Wells seeks a Technical Building Operations Surveyor. This full-time position offers a salary of £50,000–£60,000 plus bonus, with up to two days a week of remote work. The ideal candidate will oversee the safe and efficient operation of residential properties, manage statutory compliance, and lead maintenance plans while communicating effectively with teams. Qualifications

• Strong residential property operations experience, preferably in Build-to-Rent.
• Proven track record managing compliance systems and statutory programmes.
• Solid knowledge of building systems and maintenance planning.
• Experience managing OPEX budgets and driving cost improvements.
• Confident in supplier and contract management, including tendering.
• Highly organised and excellent at documentation.
• Clear communication skills and solutions-led mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage statutory compliance across fire, gas, electrical, and more.
• Oversee reactive maintenance and SLA performance.
• Build and manage OPEX budgets, monitoring variances.
• Lead tendering and contract renewal processes.
• Promote a proactive safety-first culture across all sites.
