Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking an Activities & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to create meaningful activity programmes, deliver engaging sessions and support events and family interaction for residents. You will lead therapeutic and recreational activities and contribute to improving residents’ lives within a family-run environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication with residents, families and management.
• Care home experience is desirable but not essential.
• Committed and organised approach.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development and participate in training.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are understood and upheld; promote resident safety.
• Provide evidence of training completed and engage in ongoing learning.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete all training as determined by the home.
