Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Alice Court Care Home in Eastbourne. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator by delivering a range of activities to engage residents’ physical, cognitive and social well-being.

The role requires strong communication skills, a caring attitude toward older people, and prior experience in a dementia care setting. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are mandatory; the post is on site at Eastbourne.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in residents’ condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator and care staff.
• Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
• Establish links with local community to promote intergenerational activity.
