Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Resident Services Operational Manager

Location: North West London

Contract Type: Temporary (3 months ongoing)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working

Pay: £32.45 per hour Umbrella

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead housing and estate operations, ensuring quality service delivery for all residents
  • Promote resident engagement to strengthen community cohesion
  • Manage income collection, arrears reduction, and housing enforcement
  • Work closely with partners, including police, to tackle ASB and safeguard vulnerable residents
  • Oversee leasehold and Right to Buy services, protecting council assets
  • Drive continual service improvements, handle complex cases, and manage escalated complaints
  • Monitor performance and support the delivery of resident participation strategies
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Flexible approach — ability to work evenings when required
  • Comfortable with hybrid working and hot-desking arrangements
  • Relevant housing or leadership qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • IRPM/CIH membership (or working towards) desirable
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
