Job description

Job Type: 12-month FTC | Full-time, 37.5 hours

Turn resident voices into meaningful change.

At Anchor, listening to our residents and understanding their experiences is central to how we make decisions, improve our services and deliver better outcomes.

We’re looking for a Resident Research Partner to strengthen how we gather, understand and use resident feedback and customer data across the organisation.

You’ll lead research and insight activity that helps us understand the needs, expectations and experiences of our residents and their relatives. Bringing together qualitative and quantitative research, you’ll turn complex information into clear, practical insight that influences decisions and identifies opportunities for improvement.

Working closely with residents, relatives, operational teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll make sure the resident voice is represented where it matters. You’ll also help us identify emerging trends, understand the impact of improvements and provide robust insight to support our regulatory responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and implement our resident insight and research strategy
  • Design and manage surveys, focus groups, consultations and other ways of gathering feedback
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research to understand resident needs, expectations and experiences
  • Analyse resident satisfaction, complaints, engagement and service performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Turn complex findings into clear recommendations, reports and presentations for senior leaders, boards and resident groups
  • Work closely with resident and relative panels, scrutiny groups and engagement forums, supporting co-design and co-production
  • Build strong relationships across operational teams and with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice on research methodologies and customer insight best practice
  • Track improvements arising from resident feedback and benchmark performance against industry standards and peer organisations
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in customer insight, market or social research, resident engagement or customer experience
  • Experience designing and delivering surveys, research projects and consultation exercises
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting large datasets and turning findings into practical recommendations
  • Confidence communicating complex information and presenting insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders and different audiences
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • The ability to successfully manage research and insight projects
It would be great if you also have
  • A degree or equivalent experience in social research, statistics, business intelligence, customer experience, social sciences, housing, care or a related field
  • A professional qualification in research, analytics or customer insight
  • Experience using resident or customer insight to shape and improve housing, care or other customer-focused services

If you’re passionate about using research and insight to make a meaningful difference to residents’ experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
