Hartford Care Ltd is seeking a General Assistant for West Cliff Hall Care Home in Hythe, Hampshire. This front-of-house role focuses on delivering friendly, warm service to residents, serving meals and drinks, and helping create a welcoming mealtime experience.

You’ll be a familiar face on the home floor, chat with residents, and support care and kitchen teams to ensure meals are served timely and with compassion. A team-oriented, presentable professional is ideal.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and interact with residents in a warm, friendly and respectful manner.
• Serve tea, coffee, drinks, sandwiches, snacks and meals to residents.
• Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments throughout the day.
• Talk and engage with residents while serving them, helping to create a pleasant and sociable mealtime experience.
• Ensure residents receive their meals and drinks in a timely and welcoming manner.
• Help set up and clear dining areas before and after meals.
• Keep dining and serving areas clean, tidy and presentable.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any concerns about a resident's wellbeing, appetite or dietary needs to the appropriate member of staff.
• Work closely with the care and kitchen teams to ensure residents receive a positive mealtime experience.
