Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Felixstowe, Suffolk, is seeking a Multi skilled Resident Engineer to service forklift fleets and other equipment directly at customer sites. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure peak equipment availability while building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have vehicle technician or mechanical engineering experience, hold a UK driving license, and can work autonomously and within a team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Comfortable using IT equipment.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on customer fleets.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine check-ups.

Working in a team of 3 engineers all aspects of maintenance & servicing the customers fleet, covering commercial, agricultural, FLT and various other assets. We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as commercial technicians, forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable, but not sure if you have what we want, why not talk to us.* · Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.* · We use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential.* · You will need to hold a full UK driving license.* · As a Linde engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
