Sanctuary is seeking a Building Safety Resident Engagement Lead in London to drive the development and continuous improvement of resident engagement strategies for high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act. You will bridge residents with the Building Safety Team and the Building Safety Regulator, championing the resident voice throughout safety decisions.

The role requires CIH Level 5 or equivalent qualifications, proven resident engagement experience, and the ability

Qualifications

• Qualified to CIH Level 5 and professional membership (or equivalent health and safety qualification).
• Evidence of continued professional development in resident engagement or building safety (e.g. Building Safety Act training).
• Experience leading resident involvement or community engagement in social housing/public sector environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and delivery of the Resident Engagement Strategy for HRBs, ensuring Building Safety Act compliance.
• Establish and chair a Building Safety Residents Panel to review safety reports and engage residents transparently.
• Manage consultations for major safety decisions and ensure resident views are evidenced in documentation.
• Develop accessible safety communications in plain English, Easy Read, translated formats and audio/visual materials.
