Framework Theatre Company are delighted to be recruiting for our first ever Resident Artist, to join us in 2026. This project is funded by the National Lottery via Creative Scotland.

We are recruiting one Resident Artist to join Framework Theatre Company on a 10-month long paid placement. This placement will run from January 2026 through to October 2026. We are interested in hearing from emerging artists with an interest in learning more about the running of an organisation. We are especially interested in hearing from artists who have a clear long-term ambition and passion for contributing to the arts sector in Scotland.

  • Must identify as an emerging/early-career theatre-maker.
  • Must have an interest in the working of an organisation.
  • Must be permanently based in Scotland.
