Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents regarding housing, revenues, and benefits queries.
  • Provide expert advice on Council Tax, including billing, recovery, and enforcement up to Attachment of Earnings.
  • Handle enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to resolve complex cases.
  • Promote digital access and self-service options where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with data protection regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Revenues and Benefits, with a focus on Council Tax recovery processes.
  • Knowledge of stages, including Attachment of Earnings Orders.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
