Job summary

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a global insurer to recruit a Reserving Manager for its International Markets actuarial reserving team in Leeds. The role offers hybrid working (Leeds) with a salary of £100,000-£110,000 per annum and a permanent contract.

You will own reserving strategy, lead senior stakeholder relationships and drive quarterly reserving, business planning and portfolio analysis while mentoring a team of actuaries.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and analytical tool skills are required.
• Strong numerical analysis and data interpretation abilities are essential.
• Effective communication and the ability to influence stakeholders are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reserving advice including half-yearly reserving and business planning.
• Forecast technical provisions, reserve margins and reserve uncertainty.
• Lead and develop actuarial team members with coaching and career guidance.
• Manage relationships with underwriters, claims and finance.
• Ensure governance, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
