As a member of our driving team, you will be the public face of Royal Mail and an established part of the community. Much of your day will be spent driving, collecting bulk mail from major customers, post offices and transporting mail between our mail centres and delivery offices at pre‑arranged times. You will also load and unload the van and sort mail for onward distribution.
You are upbeat and self‑motivated, comfortable working alone or as part of a team, and keen to help a variety of customers. You enjoy flexible shift patterns and working outdoors. Experience in a customer‑facing role is desirable.
A C1 category licence (in your current UK address) with fewer than six penalty points is essential. You must hold a valid DQC with 35 hours of training, and a CPC and valid Digital Tachograph Card. You will be required to present these at assessment.
