Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is seeking a Reservations Specialist to join the Central Reservations Team. You will drive revenue by selling rooms and related services through phone, email and other channels, while delivering exceptional guest service.

The role requires current reservations experience in a luxury hotel, strong communication skills, and a proven tele-sales ability. Proficiency with hotel booking systems (Opera) and a passion to exceed guest expectations is essential.

Qualifications

• Current reservations experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Natural tele sales ability including closing skills, tone of voice.
• Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, Including Opera.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum revenue through reservations and ancillary revenue via phone, email, or other channels.
• Utilize customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs and make accurate bookings.
• Ensure information is recorded in systems and guests receive excellent service per standards.
• Act as guest advocate from booking to follow-up.

We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Specialist to join our Central Reservations Team at Edwardian Hotels London.

Overview:

• An Amazing opportunity has arisen to join Edwardian Hotels as a Reservations Agent.
• As Reservations Agent you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through the effective selling of room reservations and other ancillary revenue to customers via the telephone, e-mail or other channels deemed appropriate by the company.
• Responsible for utilizing customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs, make accurate reservations which provide the optimal experience for our guests while maximizing revenue potential.
• Ensure information is accurately recorded in appropriate systems and customers are provided with excellent service delivery as determined by the company standards.
• Be the guest advocate ensuring all guests' needs from the initial booking to follow up.

About You:

• Current reservations experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Natural tele sales ability including closing skills, tone of voice.

• Ability to effectively listen and position hotels to meet guests needs.
• High level of hotel product and services knowledge.
• Ability to generate revenue by all means available.
• Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, Including Opera.
