Now, we’re searching for a dynamic, ambitious, and confident Reservations, Meeting & Events (M&E) Manager to join our Commercial Team at the fabulous dual‑branded Moxy & Residence Inn Slough!

We are the first dual‑branded property in Slough – two hotels in one building, offering both the free‑spirited Moxy experience and the homely, extended‑stay environment of Residence Inn. Whether it's our Fun Hunters at Moxy or our Maximizers at Residence Inn, your role ensures every guest gets the most out of their stay.

As the Reservations, Meeting & Events Manager, you will lead the reservations and M&E function while supporting overall hotel commercial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all rooms and M&E revenue streams in partnership with the Director of Sales and Commercial Team
  • Manage and convert incoming reservations, group enquiries, and M&E requests in line with commercial strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong client, agent, and corporate relationships
  • Support rate setting, contracting, and yield strategies
  • Ensure both hotels maximise sell‑out efficiency in line with company targets
  • Deliver monthly revenue targets for Reservations and M&E
  • Negotiate rates using market intelligence and demand calendars
  • Identify new leads and contracted corporate opportunities
  • Manage group bookings, allocations, and operational communication
  • Conduct client show rounds and represent the hotels professionally
  • Attend commercial meetings, daily briefings, and owners calls
  • Lead the Reservations & M&E team including 1‑1s, coaching, and development
  • Maintain internal systems including RFP tools (Cvent, Venue Directory, One Source, etc.)
  • Oversee the department in the absence of the DOS or senior commercial leaders
  • Manage M&E forecasting, month‑end reporting, and diary management
Qualifications
  • Passion, confidence, and exceptional customer care
  • Previous experience in reservations and/or M&E within a hotel or fast‑paced environment
  • Experience leading or supervising a small team (preferred for manager level)
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Opera PMS essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to securing business
