Job summary

Travel consultant role focused on Africa specialist, based in West London with hybrid or homebased options. Salary between 32k and 40k plus commission and benefits, with Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm and occasional Saturdays.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in tailoring luxury African trips, a passion for East and Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, and the ability to manage client budgets and payments from initial inquiry to final booking.

Qualifications

• Experience working for an African tailormade travel specialist as a consultant or team leader.
• Ideally well travelled in Africa and a real passion for the destination.
• Experience of creating tailormade trips.

Responsibilities

• Speaking to clients by phone or email to discuss luxury Africa travel plans.
• Tailor make itineraries including flights, hotels, safari lodges, and transfers.
• Guide clients from inquiry to booking, handling suggestions and budget alignment.

Travel consultant

Africa specialist Required for this established travel company who is growing due to an increase in demand. They are looking for an African tailormade specialist, office based in West London, hybrid or homebased. They will look at a senior consultant or team leader. Salary between 32/40k plus comm and benefits.

Travel consultants duties

• Speaking to clients over the phone or on email. discussion their luxury travel plans to visit East and Southern Africa , and of the Indian Ocean.
• Using your fantastic knowledge to tailor make the client and once in a lifetime trip involving fights, hotels, safari lodges, beach destinations, ground transportation, day trip etc
• Taking onboard the clients suggestions and budgets, once confirming the booking, taking payments.

Travel consultants skills required

• Experience working for an African tailormade travel specialist as a consultant or team leader.
• Ideally well travelled in Africa and a real passion and love of the destination
• Experience of creating tailormade once in a lifetime trips

Travel consultants additional information

• Salary between 32/40k plus comm
• Happy with office based, hybrid or homebased
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 1 to 2 Saturdays per month 10am to 2pm
• 28 days Holidays including bank holidays
