We seek an experienced laboratory‑based Research Technician with a neuroscience background to join our team defining the impact of daytime light on sleep and circadian rhythms using the diurnal murid rodent Rhabdomys pumillio. The successful candidate will work alongside post‑doctoral research associates to define the links between daytime light and the circadian clock/sleep at molecular, circuit, and systems levels. Applicants should have extensive experience with laboratory rodents and hold an appropriate personal licence, and demonstrable expertise collecting and processing transcriptomic data (single cell resolution) and in using brain clearing and advanced microscopy techniques. This full‑time position is funded by a grant from the Wellcome Trust and available from Jan 2026 for a period of at least 3 years.
Successful candidates may be subject to pre‑employment screening carried out on our behalf by a third party.
