Job summary

Queen's University Belfast seeks a highly qualified statistician to provide specialist statistical expertise and leadership to design, conduct, analyze, and report clinical research studies within iREACH Health.

The role supports complex trials and data-enabled research across academic and industry partnerships, with autonomy in a multidisciplinary environment and opportunities to contribute to research development and funding.

Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience in statistical analysis of health or clinical data.
• Experience applying statistical methods to complex research problems.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Stata, SAS or SPSS.
• Experience in data management, cleaning and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist statistical expertise to design, conduct, analyze and report clinical research studies.
• Lead statistical aspects of trials and data-enabled research within iREACH Health.
• Contribute to research development, funding applications and academic outputs.
