Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a motivated Research Nurse to join the Neuroscience Research Delivery Team based at The John Radcliffe Hospital. You will work across a range of clinical studies, delivering treatments and coordinating visits with nursing care.

The role involves planning, recruitment and data management, ensuring compliance with GCP and research governance, and collaborating with OUH colleagues to provide high quality participant care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in clinical research or trials desirable.
• Strong understanding of GCP and research governance.
• Excellent communication and data management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple studies and sites.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care during clinical research visits.
• Manage workload and coordinate allocated trials and studies.
• Conduct care for trial participants during visits per protocol.
• Work in accordance with GCP, research governance and sponsor requirements.
• Recruit and retain participants; support informed consent and enrollment.
• Ensure accurate data capture and timely documentation in patient records.
• Travel to research locations as required.
