Job summary

The NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility invites applications for a Band 5 Research Nurse at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. The post is part-time (0.8 WTE) and funded until March 2029, offering an opportunity to develop skills in early phase trials within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to planning, setup, and delivery of research, ensuring high standards of data collection and patient care across hospital and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a staff nurse or above working in clinical environment.
• Experience of multidisciplinary working and collaborating with other agencies.
• Management of resources.
• Must have an understanding of national and international research regulations.
• Clinical trials experience.
• Personal and leadership management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and deliver a portfolio of research within the NIHR Royal Surrey CRF and RSCH.
• Screen patients for research studies and monitor participants during studies.
• Assist with clinical investigations and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
