A regional healthcare organization in Liverpool is seeking a research nurse to join the Perioperative Medicine Research team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of research studies, advocate for research and patients, and ensure effective data management. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative studies that impact patient care within the NHS framework.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a research nurse to work within the Perioperative Medicine Research team. The ability to work over all sites and care groups if needed to work at the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Perioperative Medicine Research team have a proven track record in successfully recruiting into NIHR portfolio and commercial studies. We conduct a variety of projects, including observational and cohort studies, device and drug trials as well as mixed methods and qualitative research.
The research nurse must be a strong advocate for research and patients and will be responsible for the day to day running of research studies including screening of potential patients, recruiting patients into studies according to agreed protocols, assisting in the informed consent process and management of all the study related data and provide effective support to research participants.
