Children with Cancer UK is seeking a Research Manager to lead the operational delivery of its research funding programme, currently around £5 million a year with about 50 active grants. You’ll shape grant processes, oversee the portfolio, and build a new impact monitoring system from scratch.

You will line manage two officers and collaborate across teams including Marketing, Communications and Fundraising to share case studies and research news. Hybrid role with three days in Holborn, London.

Competenze

• Worked in research funding within a UK medical research charity and understands peer review.
• Experience coordinating grant management and panels.
• Ability to lead new funding initiatives and establish processes.

Formazione

Biology/Biomedical science degree

PhD or MSc in a relevant field

Experience in patient and public involvement (PPI) in research

Peer review or grant management experience
