The University of Sheffield ATLAS group invites applications for a Research Fellow position in Particle Physics, based in Sheffield. The role focuses on constructing silicon strip detector modules for the ATLAS Phase-II tracker upgrade and helping with detector commissioning and development for future experiments.

You will lead a small team including one engineer and graduate students, contribute to high-impact physics measurements, participate in funding proposals, and travel frequently to CERN

Formación

• PhD in particle physics or related field.
• Proven experience contributing to high-energy physics publications.
• Experience leading or co-supervising researchers.
