Job summary

University College London (UCL) is seeking a Research Fellow on a fixed-term basis to contribute to a high-impact research project within a leading academic department. The postholder will work with colleagues and external collaborators to deliver innovative research aligned with UCL’s priorities.

The role involves designing research methodologies, data collection and analysis, and the development of high-quality outputs for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline (or near completion) with a strong research record.
• Experience producing high-quality academic publications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in collaborative research and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement research methodologies for the project.
• Conduct data collection and analysis using appropriate qualitative/quantitative methods.
• Develop outputs suitable for peer-reviewed journals and dissemination.
• Contribute to grant applications and dissemination activities (conferences, seminars, workshops).
• Mentor junior researchers or postgraduate students and help meet project milestones.
