Job summary

Queen's University Belfast invites applications for an outstanding researcher to contribute to the HARMONICA project, a Horizon-funded initiative advancing Europe’s recycling sector toward a human-centric Industry 5.0 model.

The role focuses on adaptive human-robot teaming, developing intelligent systems that understand a human team member’s changing cognitive and physical state and dynamically adapt robot behaviour and autonomy in complex shopfloor environments.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant area with strong research experience.
• Experience in human participant experiments and workload modelling.
• Demonstrated ability with multimodal sensing, data fusion and real-time analysis.
