This role is for a talented senior data scientist to join a growing team which is focused on projects and applications of healthcare data to deliver innovative health care products and services. Example projects include developing models to predict disease outcomes from structured and unstructured patient medical history, and predicting inpatient stay outcome from clinical data streams.
As part of Barts Life Sciences, the postholder will have access to data and computation power, knowledge and innovation to lead the project\'s development and genuinely impact patient care. We have a close network of clinical and technical teams across the Trust, research groups at Queen Mary University of London, industry collaborators and engaged patient groups to prioritise and spread project outputs.
