Applications are invited for a Research Associate to join the Abdus Salam Centre for Theoretical Physics in the Department of Physics at Imperial College London, where you will be working primarily with Shai Chester. Other relevant faculty in the group include Claudia de Rham, Jerome Gauntlett, Amihay Hanany, Chris Hull, Andrew Tolley, Arkady Tseytlin, Daniel Waldram, Toby Wiseman, and Shota Komatsu.
The position is aimed at candidates working in String Theory and Quantum Field Theory, broadly interpreted. You should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Theoretical Physics or a closely related discipline, either awarded or anticipated, or an equivalent level of professional qualifications and experience.
This is a fixed-term position for up to 36 months available from 1st October 2026.
