You will be part of a collaborative project between Manchester Metropolitan University and StreamBio. Based in the Dalton Building, you will work closely alongside the academic lead for the project, Dr Kirsty Shaw, but will also regularly exchange findings and expertise with industrial colleagues.
You will be responsible for the development of new microfluidic devices for blood typing and detection of bloodborne viruses in remote locations. The successful candidate will have experience in microfluidics and/or molecular biology. They will be able to demonstrate independent research experience, alongside excellent team-working and be willing to participate in an industry-led project.
