Job summary

Qualifications

• Breadth or depth of specialist discipline knowledge in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• Hold a PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering or have passed the PhD viva with minor corrections.
• Publication record appropriate for career stage.
• Experience with guided wave optics applied to research.
• Strong technical competence in experimental science and data analysis.
• Theoretical understanding with grounding in experimental techniques.
• Ability to articulate research in reports and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience presenting research at conferences.

Responsibilities

• Write research reports and publications based on results.
• Develop and test non-mechanical beam steering technologies.
