Job summary

A regional mental health organization in Manchester is seeking a candidate to contribute to a research team focused on developing and evaluating a digital intervention for women in prison who self-harm. The successful applicant will play a key role in participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis. Responsibilities

  • Travel to prisons to maintain relationships between the research team, prison staff, and participants.
  • Receive line management support from the Chief Investigator/Project Manager with supervision and appraisals.
  • Assist in establishing the model of change for the Cell-Soothe intervention.
  • Determine app content and content safeguards.
  • Understand prison-specific technical requirements.
  • Establish ways to deploy and evaluate the app in prison.
  • Recruit participants, collect data, analyze findings, and write up results.
