Role

We are currently seeking a 6-month Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to lead the completion of data analysis from experiments at R3B (FAIR) employing deuteron quasi‑free scattering reactions with high‑energy radioactive ion beams.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

• Excellent knowledge of the R3B setup at FAIR and experiments that have been performed at R3B.
• Proficiency in the use of the software package R3BRoot for data analysis and simulations.
• Proficient in ROOT and C++
• Previous knowledge of performing and analysing experiments with the R3B setup.
• Ability to effectively communicate physics outputs in conferences and collaboration meetings.
• Ability to summarize physics results in scientific report and papers.
