Research Associate – Encouraging Early Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer for Black Men (PROCAN‑B+ Study)

Position: Research Associate (fixed‑term, 30‑month contract starting 1 March 2026).

Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver all aspects of the research project, including intervention delivery, data collection, data analysis and data dissemination.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising academic, clinical and community partners.
  • Support trial management activities and contribute to project reports, manuscripts and presentations.
  • Communicate research progress and outcomes to diverse audiences, including stakeholders and the public.
Qualifications
  • PhD (or near completion) in public health or a related social science field (e.g., health psychology, sociology, anthropology). Biomedical laboratory sciences are excluded.
  • Extensive experience in health research, preferably involving cancer, screening and/or health inequalities.
  • Demonstrated background in trial management is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present research findings to varied audiences.
