The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Research Assistant to contribute to the Protein Synthesis and Cancer group. You will perform cell and molecular studies on colorectal cancer models to advance knowledge and potential treatments.

Qualifications

• Essential Criteria: Have, or be about to obtain, a Masters (or equivalent) in cancer or molecular biology.
• Specialist knowledge in cell culture and complex molecular biology methods.
• Ability to communicate in both written and oral formats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Conducting individual and collaborative research.
• Use initiative and creativity to identify areas for research and develop research methods.
• Use creativity to analyse and interpret data and draw conclusions on the outcomes.
