The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge invites applications for a fixed-term Research Assistant to support the delivery of nucleic acids to mitochondria. The successful applicant will work in the laboratory of Professor Ben Luisi under the supervision of Dr Pedro Rebelo-Guiomar.

Requirements include an MSc in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related areas and prior research experience.

Applications are invited for a fixed-term Research Assistant position in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge, UK. The successful applicant will work to support the research activities in the laboratory of Professor Ben Luisi, under supervision of Dr Pedro Rebelo-Guiomar, to study the delivery of nucleic acids to mitochondria.The position would suit an ambitious and talented researcher who is keen to gain research experience in an international academic environment. The focus of the post is to assist the development of methods for the delivery of nucleic acids into mitochondria.
