Job summary

Cardiff University invites applications for a role focused on translating developmental science research into real-world healthcare improvements. You will work with researchers, clinicians and charities to co-produce resources and training materials, coordinate stakeholder engagement and evaluate project outputs.

We welcome MSc/PhD/DClinPsy candidates and those with NHS experience, seeking a future in clinical psychology, health services research, or public involvement.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of research methods and techniques and/or co-production approaches within specialist field.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex information and summarise appropriately.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • To undertake project activities, planning, coordinating and recording outcomes of impact, stakeholder engagement, co-production, and evaluation activities.
  • Collaborate with children and young people, NHS staff, charities and academics to translate developmental science into practical resources.
  • Present project activities and outcomes at meetings and through appropriate channels to internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to development and dissemination of outputs, including digital resources and guidance documents.
  • Analyse and communicate complex ideas and data using appropriate methods and packages.
  • Maintain specialist knowledge through literature review in research impact, PPIE, developmental science and paediatric healthcare.
