A prestigious research university in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic early-stage researcher to join the Organisational Behaviour group. This role involves developing experimental materials, recruiting participants, and analyzing data for research projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Psychology or a similar field, with robust IT and statistical skills. We are looking for an intellectually curious, enthusiastic and highly motivated early‑stage researcher to join the Organisational Behaviour subject group. You will help run and develop CJBS’s experimental laboratory (https://www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/faculty-research/initiatives/cebeg) and assist with both experimental and survey research projects conducted by all members of CJBS with interests in experimental research.
Responsibilities include material and stimulus development, participant recruitment, data collection, data preparation and analysis, and archiving.
Qualifications: You will have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Organisational Behaviour, or another behavioural field (e.g., Behavioural Engineering, Behavioural Economics) using experimental research methods, or equivalent educational level, and relevant research experience. Sound organisation, time‑management and planning skills with the ability to work independently are essential. Strong IT and statistical skills with considerable experience in relevant software such as SPSS, R and Matlab are a prerequisite.
