Join our Insight team at Chambers and Partners as a Research Analyst, based in our Birmingham office.
We are seeking talented individuals to join our Insight team at Chambers and Partners. As a Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming commentary compiled by our research teams into valuable insights for law firms. The success of our Insight team is integral to the overall success of our business, and we are continuously looking for qualified individuals to contribute to this success.
This role involves parsing the quantitative and qualitative data compiled by research teams for all of our published guides and turning it into useful information for law firms. Law firms find these reports invaluable, both as a source of information on how to improve their submission for recognition within our tables, as well as tools to help shape their strategy in the global legal landscape.
Research Analysts on Chambers Insight are assigned a law firm’s report to write and must use the data provided by research to draw sensible conclusions about what the reasons for the firm and its lawyers’ rankings were.
They write 200/400 words of compelling copy in every chapter of their report, with the aim of answering all of a firm’s potential questions about the rankings. Part of their training involves learning how to write the most sophisticated CMI reports, which include an analysis of the entire market, including a comparison to competitor firms. They take ownership of each report assigned to them and regularly discuss their work with their Manager.
Research Analysts will also periodically be on rotation on the Research team, interviewing clients and lawyers in key markets in order to make ranking determinations for our various tables.
