North Notts College, Worksop, is seeking a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer on a part-time basis. The role offers the chance to share industry knowledge and influence the next generation of construction professionals in a practical, hands-on environment.

You will deliver engaging teaching, assess practical work, and support learners to reach their full potential in a collaborative workshop setting.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or working towards.
• Level 3+ professional qualification in Carpentry & Joinery.
• Experience teaching students/apprentices.
• Well organised with workload management.
• Assessor’s award desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach Carpentry & Joinery and impart knowledge to learners.
• Shape curriculum and own the Carpentry provision.
• Deliver hands-on teaching and assessment to unlock potential.
• Provide supportive guidance to students facing challenges.
• Be a professional role model in the workshop.

You will…

• hold a teaching qualification or be working towards
