Job summary

A leading infrastructure services provider is seeking a Commercial Assistant to support data reporting and assist the commercial team in monthly cost reporting. The ideal candidate should be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office, and have a good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with Power BI is essential and previous similar role experience is desirable. United Living Infrastructure Services is made up of our two subsidiaries, United Living Energy and United Living Water.

United Living Energy is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners.

United Living Water provide a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs.

Tasks

To assist the United Living Energy Commercial Team by means of accurately reporting and distributing data correctly and in a timely manner. In addition to this supporting the commercial team on other ad hoc exercises which are critical to the pillars continued growth and success.

Role Specific Responsibilities
  • Administration the distribution of monthly cost reports and required accrual data to assist the commercial team in compiling monthly CVR's
  • Support the commercial team as whole with the administration and utilisation of Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Support the senior leadership team in compiling and administrating the combined monthly CVR summary.
  • Support the senior leadership team in compiling and administrating the internal combined CE register.
  • Support the senior leadership team in compiling and administrating the internal IV document on a monthly basis.
  • Support the commercial team in the use of BC and ensure all payments to suppliers are in line with the associated terms and conditions.
  • Production of Power BI reports in relation to the above activity's and others as and when required.
  • Working with the commercial team to identify and implement cost efficiencies across all associated works.
Requirements

Computer literate with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word skills to an intermediate level and keen to extend knowledge on software packages.

  • Good understating of Microsoft Dynamics or similar software (Oracle / SAP etc)
  • Experience with working with Power BI.
  • Numerate to high standard.
  • Able to produce work accurately and to tight deadlines.
  • Is able to critique processes/procedures and can recommend improvements that have a business benefit.
  • Proven communication skills including e-mails and verbal communication.
  • Take responsibility for own development.
  • Previous experience in similar role desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, committed and flexible.
