Job summary

Pulse Group, partnering with a major UK retail brand, is undergoing a digital transformation and seeking a hands-on Digital Transformation Reporting Analyst to shape how data is measured and reported. You’ll join the Data & Analytics team to turn complex data into actionable insight.

You'll build and improve reporting for digital programmes, create executive dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, and work with Databricks to unify data. Strong communication and ~5 years' experience are key.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years’ experience as a Reporting/BI/Data Analyst.
• Strong digital or eCommerce background.
• Hands-on Databricks experience.
• Solid experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Great communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior leaders.
• Curious, proactive mindset and a love of using data to drive improvements.
• SQL, web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe etc.) and Agile experience are nice to have.
• Retail or omnichannel experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Building and improving reporting that tracks progress, health and benefits of digital transformation programmes.
• Creating executive dashboards, KPI scorecards and operational reports in Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Getting into Databricks to access, analyse and make sense of data from multiple sources.
• Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into clear, jargon-free asks for Data Engineering.
• Working with engineering on data quality, consistency and reporting standards as the business moves platforms.
• Presenting findings to senior stakeholders and steering groups in a way that’s clear and easy to act on.
• Spotting opportunities to automate reporting and improve how things get done.
