Repairs Supervisor – Sutton – £30.63 per hour (Umbrella)

A Housing Association is seeking an Interim Repairs Supervisor to join their team in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of skilled trades operatives, working closely with both the DLO and external supply chain to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support trades operatives across responsive repairs and maintenance works.
  • Manage day-to-day operations both on-site and from the office, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and improve productivity and performance through clear direction and communication.
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings, performance reviews, appraisals, and absence management.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and customer care.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and organisational policies.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Repairs Supervisor or in a similar role within social housing or maintenance services.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
