Job summary

A housing association is seeking a Repairs Officer to join their Damp & Mould team in Pitsea. This position requires experience in housing repairs and the ability to handle complaints related to damp and mould. Responsibilities include day-to-day major repairs, managing empty homes and preventative maintenance. Strong multitasking and CRM system skills are essential. This is a temporary ongoing contract with a pay rate of £16.23 PAYE or £20.51 umbrella, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role in repairs and housing.
  • Strong IT skills to manage multiple systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day responsive and major repairs.
  • Handle complaints related to damp, mould, and condensation.
  • Manage empty homes and voids efficiently.
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance.
  • Deliver services for repairs through the DPS Marketplace.

BDS are currently recruiting for a Repairs officer to work for a large Housing Association within their Damp & Mould team based in Pitsea

This role is perfect for someone from a housing and repairs background who can hit the ground running in this fast paced but rewarding role. Ideally you will have experience dealing with Damp and Mould repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day responsive and major repairs
  • Complaints, Disrepair; damp, mould & condensation; EHO and escalated cases
  • Empty Homes / Voids
  • Aids & adaptions
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance and proactive case management
  • Service delivery for repairs managed through the DPS Marketplace
  • Planning for the in-house DLO
  • Professional property related services
Qualifications
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and multitasking across multiple systems
  • Strong admin and IT skills
  • Experience in a similar role in repairs and housing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Temporary ongoing contract to start ASAP

Payrate - £16.23 paye or £20.51 umbrella

Hours - 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
