A regional housing organization in High Wycombe is seeking a Repairs Inspection Technician. This role involves leading property inspections to identify hazards, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and supporting timely repairs. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in Housing or Building and experience in residential property management. We’re looking for a skilled and methodical Repairs Inspection Technician to join our Repairs & Compliance team. You’ll carry out detailed inspections of residential properties, focusing on identifying and reporting hazards (particularly damp and mould) in line with Awaab’s Law and other housing safety regulations.
You’ll ensure emergency and significant hazards are investigated and resolved within statutory timeframes, support the Repairs Supervisor with job specifications, and carry out minor works where needed. You’ll work closely with residents, internal teams, and external contractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality repairs.
